BRETT T. PENLEY

Brett Penley has represented employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation claims since 2009.  He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he was a Robert R. Neyland scholar, a member of the University Honors Program, and the Vice President of the UT Mock Trial Organization.  He graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration.  In 2009, Brett obtained his J.D. degree from the Emory University School of Law.  While at Emory, he served as a managing editor and board member of the Emory International Law Review.  He also received the Top 10% Oralist honor in Emory’s Legal Research, Writing, and Appellate Advocacy Competition.

Brett is a member of the Georgia bar and a member of the workers’ compensation section of the bar. He is admitted to practice before the Georgia state courts. 

Outside of the office, Brett enjoys cheering for the Tennessee Vols and Atlanta Braves and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and two Great Pyrenees.
